ecARToz is an Australian blog designed to support early childhood educators to share reflective stories, articles and useful resources in support of high quality early childhood visual arts pedagogy. My aim is that ecARToz will showcase high quality examples of visual arts teaching and learning, review useful literature and promote conferences of interest to educators in early childhood education settings and beyond. This blog acknowledges ecARTnz, an e-magazine developed by and for early childhood educators and academics in New Zealand, for the inspiration and permission to develop Australian material to inspire and provoke quality early childhood visual arts pedagogy.
The editor and blog developer is Dr.Gai Lindsay (University of Wollongong). The editor is responsible for promoting the magazine, writing, reviewing and editing contributions; and ensuring that the blog is of a consistently high standard.
The views of contributing blog authors do not necessarily reflect those of the editor. The editor will, however, support authors to develop and express stories of visual arts pedagogy that honor children’s rights, agency and capacity to explore, make and express meaning using visual and graphic languages.
Contributions to ecARToz are welcome. You are invited to send submissions of 1000 words accompanied by up to 8 photographs sent as .jpgs
To submit your story and photo permission forms, please contact the creator of this blog.
Hi. Would love to be able to access your site and be informed of new posts but not necessarily post myself. Is that possible?
